How does the Buy One, Give One model work?
For every journal you purchase, we donate another to someone who could benefit from journaling — through one of our trusted charity partners.
Can I choose where my donated journal goes?
Yes! At checkout, you can select which partner charity you’d like to support, such as LIVIN, Bravehearts, Friends with Dignity, and Baby Give Back.
What colours are available?
The Better Half Journal is available in two colours, Calm Cream and Grounded Green, both crafted to reflect simplicity and warmth.
Do you ship internationally?
At the moment, we only ship within Australia. International shipping will be available soon I'm sure. Join our newsletter to stay updated.
Is shipping free?
Yes, we offer free shipping Australia-wide on all orders.
Why can’t I buy the TAN coloured Journal?
The Tan Better Half Journal is exclusive to our Buy One, Give One model; it isn't available for purchase. It's the dedicated, donated edition, created to symbolise support, encouragement, and the belief that someone is backing your journey. The Tan journal acts as a reminder that someone has given you an opportunity to unlock your Better Half.
Research shows that people are often more committed when they feel accountable to someone else, and receiving the Tan edition represents exactly that kind of support.
Why can't I sent my Tan copy on all product options?
Sending individual journals to multiple addresses adds a large amount of manual work, processing time and additional labour. Offering this across all products would slow down fulfilment, increase costs and make the project impossible to sustain.
We also want to protect the impact of the donated journals. Keeping the process simple ensures that more of each purchase goes directly toward supporting our charity partners, rather than being absorbed by extra handling and postage requirements.
If you would like to send a journal directly to someone, the Hero Pack is the best option for that purpose.
Why does the Pay It Forward Pack cost more than the Better Together Pack?
The Pay It Forward Pack creates a significantly larger impact. It designed for the consumer who gets more out of giving.
This pack also helps us reinvest more into the Better Half mission by supporting our outreach, strengthening our charity partnerships and helping us share the message of daily habits and mental wellbeing with more people and communities.
